By Laura Lui September 15, 2025

Looking for a screen-free activity that sparks creativity and makes new friends? Chestnut Square is hosting Card-Craze, a hands-on series of card-making workshops designed just for kids ages 5–12. Each monthly session features a festive theme, simple step-by-step projects, and plenty of room for kids to personalize their creations. Bonus: snacks and seasonal treats are part of the fun!

What to expect

Kid-friendly crafting: Guided projects that teach basic design, cutting, stamping, and embellishing skills—no experience needed.

Seasonal themes: Every month brings a fresh reason to celebrate with a new card and coordinating craft.

Community vibes: Small-group setting at historic Chestnut Square where kids can create, chat, and sip a snack break with friends.

Take-home keepsakes: Children leave with at least one finished card (often more!) and a big sense of accomplishment.
